In 2022, Natalia Khanenko-Friesen launched the “365 Days of Oral History of War” project to monitor interview-based research on the war.
The project tracked research initiatives conducted between February 24, 2022, and February 24, 2023. As a result, a database of oral history projects based on interviews was created.
To conduct a preliminary analysis of war testimony research initiated during the first year of the full-scale war, and to assess the scope, direction, and scale of this growing field, specific criteria were established to ensure a methodologically sound approach to the collected data.
