Join the UOHA-2024 International Conference Online

12.06.2024

We invite you to participate online in the panel discussions, roundtables, and sessions of the UOHA-2024 International Conference, “Oral History in Wartime: Scientific Knowledge and the Researcher’s Responsibility,” which will take place from June 13-15 in Uzhhorod.

The Ukrainian Oral History Association has brought together distinguished and emerging researchers from Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Canada, the USA, Slovakia, Ireland, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. Over three days, participants will share their research findings and engage in discussions on the challenges oral history faces during wartime.

We encourage you to explore the online conference program. You can join the sessions virtually—links are available in the program under each session.

The conference is made possible through the support and collaboration of UOHA and its partners: the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, the Hutsuliak Chair of Ukrainian Culture and Ethnography at the University of Alberta, Uzhhorod National University, the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, and the Uzhhorod Open-Air Museum (Skansen).
