The Ukrainian-German Historical Commission invites young scholars to apply for the workshop “(Not) Far from the War: The Russo-Ukrainian War in Refugees’ Testimonies, Oral Histories, and Diaries.” The main focus of the event will be on documenting the experiences of Ukrainians who were forced to flee their homeland due to the ongoing war.
The workshop will take place on August 26-27, 2024, in Wrocław, Poland, ahead of the Witnessing the war in Ukraine Summer Institute “Testimony in the Pursuit of Justice.” The working language of the workshop will be English.
